The Process
Send me an inquiry
Fill out the inquiry form and let me know if your preferred date/time/location. Let me know if there is a special occasion, theme, accessibility concerns, or specific requests! If you don’t have a specific location or idea in mind, don’t stress. I will help you create the ideal setting. I will respond to your initial inquiry within 48 hours.
Consultation and Booking Proposal
Once you have received my response, we start the planning process! I may ask additional questions to ensure the location or theme works for your session so we can make your vision come to life. You will receive a booking proposal via email once we agree on the date, time, and location. This allows you review session information, sign the contract, and pay for the session.
During the Session
During the session I provide posing guidance as needed, direct the session, and encourage fun and playful prompts to capture genuine emotion and connection. I use film and digital cameras throughout our session. My style is a mixture of posed and lifestyle images- so DO NOT STRESS if your kids cannot follow a prompt!
After the Session
You will receive a digital proofing gallery within 72 hours of completion of your session. You will select your favorite images from the proofing gallery. Special editing requests and additional image purchases can be made at this time. Final edits are delivered within 2 weeks of your selection. Film galleries may take up to 4 weeks to be delivered due to processing times. You will receive a minimum of 10 edited film images. Expedited processing is available for a small fee.
Prints
Every session includes a print release. This means you are welcome to print your images from a consumer lab. If you want prints from a professional lab, you can order prints from me directly through your online gallery. This is optional. I use a 3rd party lab located in the USA or Canada and have the final prints shipped directly to your house! If you are looking for a specific print option (i.e puzzle, large size, gift items, etc), please contact me directly for options and pricing.

Full sessions include:
Pre-consultation
15 images: 15 digital images of your choice (edited in color and black and white) and at least 10 film images edited by hand and delivered digitally. 25 total images.
Print release
Up to 1 hour of photography
$450 + tax

You will receive an online proofing gallery of lightly edited images within 72 hours of completion of the session. Additional images can be purchased at this time. Once you select your proofs, final edited galleries may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered. I do not provide unedited images or RAW files.

YES. All sessions include digital copies of images in color and black and white with the exception of film images. Color film images will be delivered digitally in color, and black and white film images will be delivered digitally in black and white.

Film images contain grain and provide a nostalgic look to images. Film is scanned into a high-resolution file and final edits will be delivered to you digitally within 4 weeks of your session. Final film galleries contain a minimum of 10 images. You can choose either color or black and white film for your session. If you want both color and black and white images, you will need to purchase an additional roll of film for $100. You will receive at least 10 film images from each roll of film. YES. To expedite gallery delivery, there will be an added $100 fee. Expedited final galleries will be delivered within 72 hours of proof selection.
*Please note that expedited film images may still take up to 1 week due to lab/scanning turn around time frame. If you have a specific deadline, please tell me so I can consult with the lab prior to our session.

Edits and adjustments may include but are not limited to: removing blemishes/bruises, fixing stray hairs, adjusting color and brightness/contrast, removing distracting people/cars/objects from the image, fixing imperfections in the floor/wall, and face swaps in certain scenarios. If you have a specific editing request (i.e scar removal, body modification, etc) please let me know. There may be an additional editing fee depending on the request.

While I cannot control all variables, I do my best to bring out smiles! I often follow the kids lead and will jump, sing, kneel in grass, etc to get some organic images.
